Jérôme Boateng admits to 'interesting' Paris Saint-Germain talks

Bayern Munich defender Jérôme Boateng has admitted he was interested in a move to Paris Saint-Germain over the summer.

The Germany international was widely reported to be on his way to the Parc des Princes but saw the deal break down when the Bavarians apparently upped their asking price for the 30-year-old.

Boateng has conceded that he did speak with Thomas Tuchel’s side, but has now insisted that he will re-focus and give his all for the Bundesliga giants.

“There were talks with Paris, that’s no secret.

“The project there was interesting, the talks with Thomas Tuchel were good.

“That does not mean that I’m not committed to Bayern anymore. I have big goals and will continue to do everything for the club. As I have always done.”
