🎥 Jermaine Defoe scores Marco van Basten-esque beauty against Crystal Palace

Truth be told, nothing will ever come close to matching Marco van Basten’s volley for the Netherlands against the USSR in 1988.

But Jermain Defoe did a pretty decent impersonation for Bournemouth against Crystal Palace on Saturday.

The England striker had already scored earlier in the half before two goals for Palace just before half-time turned things around.

But Defoe was determined not to go into the half a goal down and he equalised with a very special effort.
