Jens Petter Hauge accepts AC Milan Euro snub

Jens Petter Hauge has accepted his axing by AC Milan from their Europa League squad.

The Norwegian youngster was a notable absence from last week's registered squad list.

Tuttosport says Hauge accepted the decision, with management explaining they were short of the necessary academy quotas, so forcing to leave him out.

Rossonero coach Stefano Pioli will be counting on the former Bodo/Glimt striker as they chase down the Scudetto.

Indeed, so much so, that Milan rejected an approach from Southampton last month.
