The Argentine has made the move in a reported €20m deal after seven years in France.

PSG announced the move via the club’s official Twitter account on Tuesday afternoon and thanked the Argentine for his services.

Roma, meanwhile, joked: “The Shepherd has found his new flock. Welcome to AS Roma, Javier Pastore!”

The 29-year-old won five Ligue 1 titles during a successful stint at PSG but has now returned to Italy, where he plied his trade for Palermo from 2009 until 2011.

Pastore joins fellow new boy Justin Kluivert, signed from Ajax, at the Stadio Olimpico while Davide Santon arrived in Rome as part of the deal that saw Radja Nainggolan join Inter.
