With a 100% win record on the line, Manchester City will travel up to the North East this weekend as they face Eddie Howe's Newcastle United on Sunday evening. The game will be broadcasted live on Sky Sports (UK) and kicks off at 16:30 (BST).
So far this season, Gillett has refereed just one game – a 2-2 draw between Leicester and Brentford in the Premier League.
As for being in charge of City, he last was involved when the Blues breezed past Fulham 4-1 last February in the Emirates FA Cup. This was the only time the Australian has refereed Pep Guardiola's side.

Last season, the 35-year-old took charge of 22 games in all competitions and gave out 56 cards, including two double yellows and three straight reds – an average of 2.5 cards per game.
