Jarni warns Real Madrid: You cannot start slowly at Chelsea | OneFootball

Former Real Madrid star Robert Jarni says Zinedine Zidane's team cannot afford a slow start tonight at Chelsea.

Real meet Chelsea in the second-leg of their Champions League semifinal with the aggregate score locked at 1-1.

Jarni told TMW: "With this Real Madrid you never know, they are a team that can always surprise. They weren't brilliant in the first leg, but that doesn't mean they can't get to the final in Istanbul. I expect an interesting, balanced match and in the end let's see who will win.

"The truth is that I was surprised by Chelsea's attitude. (Thomas) Tuchel's team presented themselves with an aggressive attitude and immediately tried to impose their game. Real did not expect the performance of their opponents, but in the second-half managed to do much better.

"I expect, therefore, that Zidane's team will restart from the final of the last game. Only in this way will they be able to qualify for the final in Istanbul."
