Manchester City enter yet the January transfer window deadline day once again in the middle of an intense triple-trophy pursuit following last season’s Treble success.
The final hours of the January market are likely to be dominated by the outgoings of the club’s rising Academy talents, with the futures of several young names still yet to be resolved ahead of the closure of the ongoing window.
Kian Breckin is just one name that is likely to leave Manchester City on a six-month loan deal, while Micah Hamilton is attracting widespread interest from within the Championship despite the Premier League champions’ insistence on the player not leaving this month.
Elsewhere, Manchester City may entertain offers for players on the fringes of their first-team squad following on from the exit of Kalvin Phillips. However, given the lack of time remaining to find suitable replacements, it would come as a shock to see any figures depart on Thursday.
City Xtra are here to keep you up to date with all of the latest transfer news and developments on Deadline Day, with the January window set to shut at 11 PM [UK] on Thursday night.
