Carragher took to Twitter to state that it is embarrassing that the Reds have agreed to join the European Super League.

ANFIELD WATCH VERDICT

We agree with Carragher. If Liverpool join the European Super League, they will reportedly not be able to compete in the Premier League.

It is common knowledge that the Premier League is one of the most exciting leagues in world football. So, why would Liverpool want to leave the aforementioned competition?

Liverpool have had so much success in England’s top division. They have won the league title 19 times.

It will be interesting to see if this new competition does form. Nothing is set in stone as of yet.
