Borussia Dortmund have announced Jamie Bynoe-Gittens has singed a new contract with the club, which will keep the winger in black and yellow until June 2028.

The 19-year-old, who has been capped once at England U21 level, joined Dortmund in 2020 and has since gone onto make 25 appearances for the senior team, scoring three times.

Speaking on the new deal for the forward, sporting director Sebastian Kehl said: “Jamie is a hugely promising player for the future. A winger with extreme speed, he is constantly looking for one-on-one situations, can solve them with his technical quality, and create scoring opportunities for team-mates or finish himself.

“We are convinced that his development is far from complete and we are pleased that Jamie has decided early on for a long-term future at BVB despite big interest from several top clubs in Europe.”

Bynoe-Gittens will hope to be involved when Dortmund take on Milan in the Champions League this Wednesday.
