Dean James will miss the KNVB Cup final on the 21st of April. The 24-year-old Go Ahead Eagles left-back was injured in the match against FC Utrecht on Sunday and will be out of action for several weeks.
The Indonesian international James has played 23 league matches this season and scored twice. Losing him is another blow for the Deventer team heading into the cup final against AZ.

At the end of February, Jakub Breum was sidelined for a long time due to a fracture in his foot. While the club didn’t reveal James’ injury woes, the high-flying defender left the pitch after seemingly experiencing hamstring issues.
