James Maddison has revealed he will wear custom boots honouring the late Sophie Taylor at this summerâs Under-21 European Championships.
Maddison met Sophie when she was a Norwich mascot back in 2018 and became close friends with the five-year-old.

Tragically, in January, Sophie died from bone cancer but she will be with the Leicester man when he takes to the field in Italy over the next month.
The boots have an embroidered image of Sophieâs face as well as the words âthere is a new angel in Heavenâ.
