Celtic have officially revealed their starting eleven and substitutes to take on Atalanta in a Champions League league phase clash at the Gewiss Stadium in Italy.
After kicking off their Champions League push with a fine win over Slovan Bratislava, Brendan Rodgers’ side were thrashed 7-1 by Borussia Dortmund.
Rodgers has had criticism for his refusal to change his approach, which has led to heavy defeats in Europe as Bhoys boss, and it remains to be seen if there is any shift today.
His Celtic now take on an Atalanta team who drew with Arsenal and beat Shakhtar Donetsk in their first two Champions League matches.
Rodgers picks Kasper Schmeichel in goal today, while Alistair Johnston, Auston Trusty, Liam Scales and Alex Valle form the backline.
Midfield sees Callum McGregor, Arne Engels and Reo Hatate start, while leading the attacking charge for Celtic are Nicolas Kuhn, Daizen Maeda and Adam Idah.
If Rodgers needs to make changes during the game then he does have options to call for from the bench in Italy and they include Luis Palma and James Forrest.
