Celtic winger James Forrest has officially been named Scottish Premiership Player of the Year.

The 27-year-old adds the accolade to this year’s PFA Player of the Year, PFA Scotland Players’ Player of the Year, and the SFWA Footballer of the Year.

“I’m delighted to win another award, and it’s been a tremendous season,” he told the club’s official website.

“At this time in the season, you collect awards both personally and for the team, and it’s a great time. I’m looking forward to Saturday as well!

“I’ve won a few awards now this season, and it’s obviously good to be recognised for your season and how hard you’ve been working.

“I’ve enjoyed that throughout the season – working hard and playing with this team. It’s been really enjoyable and it’s great picking up some awards.”
