He's the shooting star of the past year at FC Bayern and now he's finished in a superb third in the Kopa Trophy. Jamal Musiala was able to enjoy a place on the podium at the renowned award for youth talent hosted by French magazine France Football. First place went to Pedri of Barcelona, with Jude Bellingham of Borussia Dormund coming second. The award was presented on Monday evening at the Ballon d'Or ceremony in Paris.

Musiala became the youngest goalscorer in Bayern's Champions League history - and the third youngest of any team in the competition - back in February. He made his senior debut for Germany the following month, getting his first international goal in October. Only Marius Hiller back in 1910 has scored at a younger age for Germany. The teenager also signed his first professional contract with FCB back in March, keeping him tied to the club until 2026. Fans can therefore look forward to much more from the fleet-footed forward in the future.
