Capped by England at youth levels, her club career has also included spells at Arsenal, Chelsea and on loan at Reading.

Head coach Carolina Morace told londoncitylionesses.com: “We are pleased to add Jade to our team as we arrive at a crucial moment in the season. She has a lot of experience, which comes with a strong sense of positioning and vision.

“Jade may need time before playing a full match for us, but she has the skills to suit our team and we are happy to welcome her to the club.”

Bailey said: “I’m very excited for the rest of the season. After being out for a while, I’m looking forward to contributing and helping the team win as many points as possible this campaign.”
