MIAMI – Jamaica secured a top two finish in its group as the Second Round of the Concacaf Qualifiers for the FIFA World Cup 2026 continued on Saturday.

The Road to the 2026 continues for Concacaf nations with the final encounters of the Second Round during the June 2025 match window. The group winners and runners-up will progress to the Third and Final Round.

British Virgin Islands 0, Jamaica 1

Jamaica won 1-nil against the British Virgin Islands in Group E at A.O. Shirley Recreation Ground in Road Town, British Virgin Islands.

Warner Brown struck the opening goal in the 17’ to connect on a free kick service from Demarai Gray.

The victory assures the Reggae Boyz a place in the Third and Final Round, unable to finish lower than the top two with nine points in hand. Jamaica will host Guatemala on Tuesday with first place in the group on the line.

Anguilla 0, El Salvador 3

El Salvador 3-nil against Anguilla in Group F at Raymond E. Guishard Technical Centre in The Valley, Anguilla.

Santos Ortíz opened the scoring in the 30’ with a right-footed finish inside the box to pounce on a rebound.

Brayan Gil extended the lead in the 45’+5’ to connect with a service from Nathan Ordaz.

Elvin Alvarado scored the third goal for La Selecta in the 77’, connecting a left-footed finish on a cross from Alexander Larín.

The victory sees El Salvador improve to seven points and a second-place standing heading into a decisive final matchday against Suriname on Tuesday.
