Jadon Sancho may be out of favour in Manchester, but he is flavour of the month in Dortmund.
The Englishman never really looked at home at Old Trafford during his spell there, and a fall out with Erik ten Hag proved the final nail in his coffin. Frozen out from the side, he was sent on loan to Dortmund in January.
And they will be very grateful that he was. Just three minutes into a must-win affair for the German side, he produced a moment of magic to grab his first Champions League goal in a mammoth 841 days.
As the ball dropped to him at the edge of the area, he struck a sweet low drive into the bottom corner, and leave his side on course for the last 8 of the competition.
United, of course, didn’t make it past the group stage and may well be wondering what could have been with the Englishman had things gone differently.
