Manchester United are trying to resolve Jadon Sancho’s future following his return to Carrington from Chelsea.

Last summer, the Blues signed the Englishman on an initial season-long loan deal with an obligation to buy in 2025. He endured a mixed campaign at Stamford Bridge and Chelsea even showed desire to secure his services on a permanent basis.

However, Sancho refused to lower his wage demands, compelling Chelsea to pay United a £5 million penalty fee.

United now find themselves with a player who is not considered part of Ruben Amorim’s plans and has failed to attract plenty of suitors.

Juventus keen on signing Sancho from Man United

Juventus are among the few clubs showing a serious interest in signing Sancho.

According to Corriere dello Sport, the 25-year-old has made it clear to United that he only wants to join Juventus.

It is claimed United have accepted his transfer wish and have already reached an agreement with the Serie A giants for €25m plus bonuses.

The Old Lady are now understood to be working on finding a full agreement with the left-winger and ironing out the remaining details with the Red Devils.

Meanwhile, La Stampa (via Tutto Juve) reveal that the England international’s representatives had a meeting with the Premier League giants earlier this week.

It is believed that the “tug-of-war continues between the winger and United over a severance package”, with Sancho demanding around €5m before heading out the door at Old Trafford.

Man United determined to get rid of outcasts

Since United have no desire to re-integrate Sancho into the squad, they might bow to his demands in order to get rid of one of their worst ever signings. The ex-Borussia Dortmund talent moved to Manchester in a deal worth £73m in 2021.

Apart from Sancho, Ineos also want to offload wingers Marcus Rashford and Antony. Rashford has emerged as Barcelona’s priority target in recent days.

Meanwhile, Alejandro Garnacho has been allowed to to join his United teammates in pre-season training in a surprising turn of events.
