Aston Villa managed to extract a win against Southampton in the Premier League as the game ended with a 1-0 scoreline in favour of the former side. Their next battle is against RB Leipzig in the Champions League, which will test them highly for sure.
The Villans have a great chance of finishing in the top eight in the Champions League, avoiding playing an extra playoff round. Hence, they will be eager and extremely motivated to secure all three points against the German side this week.
Defence
Emi Martinez started in the previous game despite an injury scare. It means he should be ready to be the gloveman even for this fixture. Right-back Matty Cash put on an impressive show and he will be expected to deliver a similar sort of display.
While Ezri Konsa continues at the heart of the defence, Pau Torres should join him to form the pair. Lucas Digne is likely to move to the left-back position, leaving Tyrone Mings with no place in the starting lineup.

Midfield
Boubacar Kamara and Youri Tielemans are about to get another start in the middle of the park. Amadou Onana has returned from the foot injury but might not find himself in the initial XI.
Attack
Unai Emery wouldn’t have preferred changing anything in the offensive pack but a hamstring injury to Leon Bailey will force him to do so. While John McGinn continues to operate on the left wing, Morgan Rogers should move to play in the central areas.
Jaden Philogene is the front-runner to take charge of the services at the right flank. No doubt over the selection of Ollie Watkins as the striker in the lineup.
Jacob Ramsey is the only other absentee for the Villans for this clash.
