Jacob Bruun Larsen has had a breakout season for Borussia Dortmund and now, the 20-year-old winger is not set to take his talents to the international stage.
Bruun Larsen will replace Copenhagen goalscorer Robert Skov, who was forced out due to a minor injury he suffered in Sunday’s 3-1 win against leaders Hobro IK in Denmark’s Superliga on Sunday.
Skov, who was set to make his debut, is currently ninth in the European Golden Boot race with 24 league goals this year.
Denmark will face Kosovo in a friendly on 21 March before they take on Switzerland in a Euro 2020 qualifier on 26 March.
Bruun Larsen will join Dortmund team-mate Thomas Delaney, who already has 34 caps to his name.
