Jack Grealish has offered praise for Jordan Henderson and the way he conducts himself having seen him first hand with England as they prepare for the European Championships this summer.
The Aston Villa midfielder could be one of the stars for the Three Lions this summer as he looks to take players on and drive at opponents, but it is clear there are other members of the England squad that he looks up to as an example to follow.
Indeed, quoted by Sky Sports among other outlets, Grealish has revealed how the likes of Jordan Henderson and Harry Kane provide a real model for him and the other players to try and replicate when it comes to professionalism:
ANFIELD WATCH VERDICT
It’s no real surprise to hear that Henderson is leading by example around the England camp and, of course, you can see why Gareth Southgate wanted him involved this summer despite his recent fitness problems.
He’s one of the most successful players in the England camp given what he’s won of late and is a true pro, so he’ll be a huge influence in terms of anything the national team achieves this summer at the tournament.
