The 26-year-old left-back ruptured his MCL against Ebbsfleet United earlier in September and requires surgery, something that will be a struggle for his non-league side to afford.

As a result, Jack Grealish has stepped up to help out.

“It has been a horrendous time for non-league clubs,” Kinsella wrote. “I would like to do as much as I can to help the club financially as they have done for me over the last 3 years!

Kinsella played for Arsenal’s youth ranks for eight years between 2003 and 2011 before moving on to Aston Villa where he spent five years and made the first-team matchday squad a few times.

After being released from Villa, Kinsella headed to Colchester United on a free.

They loaned him to Aldershot, who signed him permanently, again on another free, in 2018.
