FINELY BALANCED FIRST HALF

Nothing would split the teams after the first 45 minutes even if there were plenty of chances to make the breakthrough. Inter went close through Ghoutia Karchouni, who was frustrated by the combined opposition of Pauline Peyraud-Magnin and the post.

However, Juventus were producing more, offering the feeling of a team that wanted to cancel the misstep with Como the previous match.

A MINUTE LATER

One of the characteristics that makes Juventus Women a special team is an ability to press down on the accelerator when the time is right. This is what happened a minute after Bonansea's opener. Arianna Caruso took advantage of the moment of clear difficulty in the opposition defence to score the game's second and last goal. The midfielder shows all her joy knowing that the three points were going home.
