However, according to Zazzaroni via FCInterNews, they’re keeping their eyes peeled for value in the market.

Yet, talks with Atalanta have reached an impasse.

La Dea’s €50 million asking price has proved prohibitive for the Nerazzurri, who will not offer more than €45 million.

While the recent reports suggest Inter could increase their offer, Beppe Marotta’s real intentions remain a mystery.

Meanwhile, the Nigerian star is doing everything to force his exit.

He has already refused to train with the team and removed all social media posts in the Atalanta shirt.

Despite his drastic actions, La Dea’s position remains unchanged.

Therefore, Inter have had to expand their search for a versatile forward.

Inter will not let Atalanta stall negotiations for much longer.

Indeed, time has become a sensitive mission, with the start of the new Serie A season fast approaching.

As such, they’ve cast a wide net in their pursuit of a new attacker.

According to Zazzaroni, they have six names on their shortlist.

“Ben Seghir, Sancho, Nkunku, Nusa, Garnacho, Openda – they’ve all been considered, albeit at different times,” he claims.

“Marotta isn’t pursuing talks with any of them simply because the main target is Lookman, who is raising hell to join Inter.

“That too is a form of respect.”

Christopher Nkunku and Jadon Sancho have emerged as the likeliest fallback options.

Indeed, both players are out of favor at their clubs, with Chelsea and Manchester United putting them up for sale.

However, the name of RB Leipzig starlet Antonio Nusa has recently gained traction.
