The Premier Leagueās winter break concludes this weekend with two entertaining matches on Saturday.
Hereās what went down.
Scorers: Toney 19ā², Mee 58ā², Maupay 68ā²; Danilo 3ā², Wood 65ā²
Ivan Toneyās long-awaited return to action helped Brentford edge out Nottingham Forest in a five-goal thriller.
The hosts fell behind early on when a botched clearance allowed Danilo to produce a stunning volley from the edge of the area.
Toney marked his comeback with a well-worked free kick which was driven low around the Forest wall to catch out Matt Turner at his far post.
Thomas Frankās side continued to step things up after the interval as Ben Mee powered home a header from Mathias Jensenās corner.
Chris Wood soon put the Tricky Trees back on a level footing with a flick-on header past Mark Flekken from a Callum Hudson-Odoi delivery.
But Neal Maupay tipped the balance by restoring the Beesā lead inside just three minutes through a half-volley after bringing down Mads Roerslevās cross.
Scorers: MagalhĆ£es 11ā², Henderson (OG) 37ā², Trossard 69ā², Martinelli 90+4ā², 90+5ā²
Arsenal moved up to third in the Premier League after comprehensively ending a four-game winless run in all competitions against Crystal Palace.
Gabriel MagalhĆ£es opened the scoring for Mikel Artetaās side early on by rising to meet Declan Riceās in-swinging corner from the left.
An identical set piece saw the Brazilian help double the Gunnersā lead with his far-post header from Buyako Sakaās delivery turned home by Dean Henderson.
The visitorsā best attempt for an early second-half reducer saw Eberechi Eze force a good save from David Raya with a long-range attempt.
But the north Londoners further cemented their dominance when Leandro Trossard ended a 10-game goal drought by sweeping home a third at a counterattack.
Deep in added time, substitute Gabriel Martinelli rolled home a fourth after being played in by Eddie Nketiah before adding a second just a minute later.
Artetaās side now sit two points behind leaders Liverpool, who face Bournemouth on Sunday.
