Brentford striker Ivan Toney has accepted breaking Football Association rules in regards to betting on football matches.
Toney was due to appear before a disciplinary panel but has accepted to breaking FA rule E8, which bans players from betting on games or sharing information for betting purposes.
As reported by the BBC, it is understood that Toney has admitted to many of the offences he has been charged with but will contest others.
Toney has been charged with 262 breaches in total and potentially faces a lengthy ban.
The alleged breaches took place between February 2017 and January 2021.
There has yet to be an official comment from either the FA or Brentford so far.
In 2017, Joey Barton was banned for 18 months, reduced to 13 on appeal, after admitting to placing 1260 football-related bets over a 10-year period.
