Liverpool winger Luis Diaz has revealed how the Reds can get their season back on track.

Liverpool have had a slow start to the 2022-23 Premier League campaign. After seven games, the Reds sit in ninth-place in the table.

With that being the case, Diaz has recently explained how Liverpool can get back to their best.

“It’s simple. Win, win and win. I think winning gives you much more confidence, but not only that, to play well and leave the pitch with the impression you gave your all," he told the Liverpool Echo, as quoted by AW on Twitter.

"For me that’s the most important thing. But when that doesn’t happen, we have to try and improve in training to try and rectify in the next game. We’ve very happy with the win tonight (against Rangers earlier this week), now we’ll rest to prepare for what’s coming.”

Diaz is spot on. The winger's explanation does sound very simple, but it's spot on.

If Liverpool can win consecutive games, they will slowly but surely get back to their best. The Reds appear to be lacking in confidence more than anything, which is bizarre when you think about it.

Jurgen Klopp's team competed for the quadruple last season. In other words, Liverpool are a very good side.

But, for whatever reason/s, it just hasn't happened for the Reds so far this campaign. There is plenty of time left to turn things around.
