Bernardo Silva has once again failed to rule out a move away from Manchester City this summer, as PSG renew their interest in the Portuguese midfielder.

The 28 year-old has been subject to continued transfer speculation, with fresh talk about a possible departure from the Etihad Stadium following the conclusion of the current campaign.

Bernardo joined Manchester City from Monaco in 2017 and despite making nearly 300 appearances and winning 11 trophies, has been linked with a possible move to Barcelona or Paris Saint Germain.

The Catalan club were widely reported to be set to sign the Portuguese international last summer, however a switch to the Camp Nou never materialised despite rumours from the Spanish media.

Barcelona are seemingly less interested in signing the City midfielder this summer, however PSG are claimed to have renewed their interest in the four-time Premier League winner.

Matteo Moretto reports that the 28 year-old will be the French club’s “number one priority” for central midfield ahead of next season, with the player expected to push for a move away from East Manchester.

Silva himself has once again failed to rule out a departure from City and has insisted that his full focus is on the remainder of the current campaign, with the Blues in the hunt to win three trophies.

“It’s not the moment to talk about this. There’s three months left of the season and I’m very focused on Man City,” the midfielder told Arab News.

“Honestly it (the speculation) doesn’t affect me, it doesn’t. I try to do my best and then what happens, happens.

“There’s three months to go and so many big things we can fight for — the Champions League, which we have always wanted to win. Still if we win this Premier League that’s five in six seasons, which is a big big achievement, and the FA Cup which we have won only once since I’ve been here.”

“We have been losing in the FA Cup semi-finals, which is very frustrating for us because it’s a very important competition. So there are big things to fight for and we are going to be there.”

City trail Arsenal by eight points in the Premier League title race and face a crunch Champions League quarter-final tie against Bayern Munich next month.

The Blues are also in the FA Cup semi-finals and will face Sheffield United at Wembley Stadium, with Manchester United or Brighton awaiting the winners in the final.
