Dusseldorf are keen on keeping the Norwich forward at the club, but Thioune admitted the task is not an easy one.

The German outfit are now on the verge of getting promoted to Bundesliga and the Dusseldorf boss stressed that he would be delighted if they managed to keep Tzolis.

When asked about whether Dusseldorf will be able to keep hold of the Norwich star, Thioune was quoted as saying by German daily TZ: “Keeping hold of Christos?

“It is difficult on the pitch and it is also difficult for us.

“He went to England back then with a certain transfer fee.

“I would be delighted if it works out.”

Tzolis has two more years left on his Norwich contract and it is thought to be difficult for Fortuna Dusseldorf to afford the clause sum.
