The Premier League continues to deliver great goals but some are more special than others.

It’s now 11 years since Fulham’s Pajtim Kasami added his name to the all-time list with an absolute rocket against Crystal Palace.

Martin Jol’s side travelled across London with just two top-flight wins under their belt all season as the threat of relegation loomed large.

Things went from bad to worse as their hosts took an early lead before Kasami produced an inspired moment just 12 minutes later.

His wonder strike set the wheels in motion for a 4-1 win by the Cottagers, who ultimately failed to win their battle to beat the drop that season.

Kasami’s rocket didn’t even win the Premier League’s Goal of the Month award despite Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere giving it his backing.
