Inter Milan midfielder Davide Frattesi is happy with how the team bounced back with a dominant win over Frosinone following last week’s defeat.

The Nerazzurri already have the Scudetto title in the bag. They sealed it with a win over AC Milan in Round 33.

Therefore, Simone Inzaghi has been rotating his starting lineup.

The Italian champions sustained a defeat in Sassuolo last weekend but returned to winning ways tonight by smashing Frosinone with five unanswered goals.

After the match, Frattesi admitted the Scudetto celebration may have hampered the team’s display last weekend.

“The match against Sassuolo was perhaps influenced by the celebrations,” said the 24-year-old in his post-match interview with DAZN via FcInterNews.

“The important thing was to avoid making a bad impression tonight. This was the right answer to give.”

The Italy international was a true protagonist in the victory. He opened the scoring himself before providing the assist for Marko Arnautovic on the second goal.

Davide Frattesi Pleased With Inter Milan’s Response Vs Frosinone

The midfielder stressed the importance of working hard and leaving it all out on the pitch.

“The most important thing is working hard. You always have to be professional and go at 2000km/h.

“The more you play, your condition improves. But what matters the most is to give your best in training.”

Frattesi is hoping to replicate this season’s success in his second campaign at Inter.

“I hope to replicate what we did this year as a group. As for myself, it is the coach who decides, and that is fine by me.”

Finally, the former Sassuolo man is looking forward to next weekend’s Scudetto party at San Siro, even if he doesn’t expect it to be as magical as the bus parade.

“It won’t be like the bus parade but it’s always a party. San Siro always evokes great emotions. It’s like it’s a constant party.”
