As the season heads towards the business end, transfer speculation is continuing to pop up ahead of the summer transfer window.

The latest instalment comes from calciomercato.com. The source claims Chelsea have an interest in Genoa youngster, Nicolo Rovella. The 18-year-old made his senior debut just before Christmas in a Copa Italia tie against Ascoli.

The report suggests former Blues boss, Antonio Conte is also interested in taking the youngster to the San Siro.

Chelsea have already sent scouts to watch the 18-year-old, with plans to continue to keep an eye on his progress.

The youngster primarily plays in defensive-midfield role, and is confident in possession, has good distribution, and likes to shoot from distance, according to talenthunters.eu.

Several youngsters are scouted regularly by the club. Not a lot is known of this kid, but like many other stories and links, it’s one to keep an eye on.
