Italian Report Lauds Inter’s Ashley Young For His Performance Against Lazio | OneFootball

Ashley Young has been named as Inter’s best performing player in last night’s 2-1 loss away to Lazio as part of the player ratings published in today’s print edition of Tuttosport.

The 34-year-old Englishman grabbed his first goal in Nerazzurri colours following his arrival in the January transfer window from Manchester United and has been given a rating of seven by the Turin based newspaper.

Young’s fellow wing back Antonio Candreva and Romelu Lukaku are tied for the next best performance with both of them being handed ratings of 6.5.

Marcelo Brozovic, Nicolo Barella and second half substitute Christian Eriksen were the next best performers with ratings of six whilst Daniele Padelli, Diego Godin, Victor Moses, Matias Vecino all got ratings of 5.5.

In the eyes of Tuttosport, defenders Stefan de Vrij and Milan Skriniar and striker Lautaro Martinez were the Nerazzurri’s worst performers at the Stadio Olimpico with all three of them being given half marks.
