Inter manager Antonio Conte has been labelled Inter’s Cristiano Ronaldo as part of an article in the print edition of Milanese newspaper Corriere della Sera.
Conte took the Inter reigns this past Summer from Luciano Spalletti and has led his new side to a record breaking start in Serie A with him helping Inter to pick up 34 points from a possible 39 available to them.
“Inter do not have a Cristiano Ronaldo on the field but they do on the bench. Antonio Conte is the real Nerazzurri phenomenon. He does not score goals like the Portuguese does but he does even more for Inter,” the report details.
Conte, who has managed Juventus, Chelsea and the Italian national team in the past, is under contract with the club to the end of the 2021/22 season and hopes are high that he can lead Inter to their first piece of silverware since the 2010/11 season.
