Inter got their first win of this season’s Champions League group stage with a 3-1 victory over the Moldovan side, and the performance as an impressive one with the team passing the ball around well and the game played at a high tempo.

Part of the reason for this is that Makkelie managed the pace of the game well and did not let it get bogged down in excessive stoppages.

Meanwhile, there were two incidents in the penalty area between Arturo Vidal and Fernando Costanza, and Nicolo Barella and Danilo Arboleda, both of which Makkelie is adjudged to have gotten right.
