Inter striker Lautaro Martinez has been named as his team’s standout performer in yesterday’s 1-0 win over AC Milan for his match-winning display.

The Argentine was given a score of 7.5/10 in the player ratings for the match published in today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who also praised defender Francesco Acerbi for his display.

Martinez scored the match’s only goal to give Inter the derby day win, their second against the Rossoneri in under three weeks, but this was far from the only thing that the 25-year-old did on the pitch.

The striker harried the Milan backline for his entire time on the pitch, and showed bits of skill and inventive linkup play throughout.

Meanwhile, defender Acerbi received a score of 7/10 for his performance from the Gazzetta, who praise the 34-year-old for all but neutralizing the impact that Rossoneri striker Olivier Giroud was able to have on the match.
