Inter president Steven Zhang hopes to be able to leave his native China as soon as possible according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere dello Sport.
Due to the global COVID-19 crisis, Zhang has been stuck in China for several months and he is trying to understand when he will be able to make a return to Europe.
Zhang is feeling energised and wants to be alongside the team, who are just two wins away from making the Europa League final.
The report goes on to explain that Zhang will meet with Inter manager Antonio Conte at the end of the current season to discuss the current situation at the club which has become tense after a recent public outburst from Conte.
Whilst a meeting could be held via video conference call, Zhang wants to do it face-to-face due to some of the topics needing addressed with regard to the future being very delicate and important for the future.
