Italian Media Detail Why Inter Milan Hope Liverpool Sign €50M Rated Torino Defender | OneFootball

Inter will have one eye on the situation of Torino defender Perr Schuurs in the hopes that Premier League giants Liverpool or another side in the English top flight sign the Dutchman.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInterNews, who report that the Dutchman’s skyrocketing price tag means there is little chance that the Nerazzurri would sign him, but that his sale could open the door for the Granata to sign wingback Valentino Lazaro permanently.

Schuurs’s form for Torino had made him a target for Inter, but now it has also attracted the likes of not just Liverpool but also Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur.

Accordingly, the asking price for the former Ajax man should be at least €50 million, which Inter would have little chance of meeting amid Premier League competition.

However, if Schuurs were to be sold for a big fee then Torino would likely reinvest some of that fee in signing players currently on loan on a permanent basis.

One of these is Inter wingback Valentino Lazaro, for whom Inter would seek a €4.5 million fee.
