Inter could be hoping that CEO Beppe Marotta is the key to signing Paulo Dybala on a free transfer from Juventus over the summer transfer window.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who note that the Nerazzurri executive has already replicated some of his success with the Bianconeri at the club.

Marotta had enjoyed success over a number of seasons with Juventus, with the signing of Dybala from Palermo only one of many significant deals which he carried out along the way to a dominant run of Scudetti.

However, the executive parted ways with the Bianconeri in 2018 and then joined Inter, where he has already been behind a Scudetto win and now sees the team at the top of the Serie A table once again.

One of the keys to the Nerazzurri’s Scudetto win last season was that Marotta had convinced another Juventus alumni to join the club in the form of head coach Antonio Conte.

Now, the CEO could look to capitalize on the unsettled situation of another Bianconeri man in the form of Dybala, and get one over on the Nerazzurri’s rivals a third time by signing the Argentine out of contract.
