Inter could activate the buy-back option they have on Genoa striker Andrea Pinamonti to stop him from joining arch rivals Juventus according to a report from Italian news outlet CalcioMercato.com.

Despite not having the most eye-catching of 2019/20 seasons, Juventus have identified the Italian youth national team player as an ideal reinforcement for their attack due to him being just 21-years-old and they could try to take advantage of the good relations they have with Genoa president Enrico Preziosi.

Inter do not like the possibility of seeing one of their academy graduates suit up for their arch rivals and could bring him back to the club by taking advantage of the buy-back option they have on him which they secured as part of the deal when they sold Pinamonti to Genoa.

In the 2019/20 season, Pinamonti made 34 appearances across all competitions to date. In his time on the park, he scored seven goals and provided a total of three assists for his teammates.
