Barcelona midfielder will seek a move away from the Camp Nou this summer, with Inter a possible destination for the Bosnian.

This is the report of journalist Sandro Sabatini, speaking to Italian broadcaster SportMediaset today, who claims that the 31-year-old strongly desires a return to Italy.

Pjanic moved to Barcelona from Juventus last summer, but has found playing time hard to come by at the Catalan club under coach Ronald Koeman.

The Bosnian is hoping to make a return to Serie A to change his situation, with a return to Juventus his preference, but he is also open to the possibility of Inter.

Pjanic first came to Italy in 2011, joining Roma from Lyon – the Bosnian went on to play for the capital club for five seasons before a further four seasons spent in Turin with Juventus.

Sabatini states that the player “wants to return to Italy at all costs and is willing to cut his salary for Juventus, but he is also open to Inter.”

Meanwhile, Sabatini also discussed the situation of Fiorentina goalkeeper Bartolmiej Dragowski.

Dragowski has been identified as a possible target for Inter as a backup for first-choice goalkeeper Samir Handanovic, but the coaching situation of La Viola is thought to have made a transfer less likely:

“Inter had identified Dragowski as a possible deputy for Handanovic, because [former Fiorentina manager Gennaro] Gattuso did not prefer him, wanted to bring in [Napoli goalkeeper David] Ospina. With a new coach, on the other hand, Dragowski will definitely stay in Florence.”
