Italian journalist Niccolo Ceccarini believes that wing-backs Filip Kostic and Jesus Corona are among Inter’s major transfer target for next summer’s transfer window.

Writing in his column for Italian news outlet TuttoMercatoWeb, Ceccarini gave updates on some of the Nerazzurri’s transfer pursuits for the summer window, with both the Eintracht Frankfurt and Porto men potentially available in the last years of their respective contracts.

Inter have had a focus on finding value in the transfer market under CEO Beppe Marotta, and one key strategy to this approach involves identifying players who are available out of contract, or who can be signed at a reasonable fee due to approaching the end of their deals.

This theme is key to Ceccarini’s overview of some of the players who the Nerazzurri are looking into potentially signing, with left-sided Kostic and right-sided Corona among the players who could be brought in to bolster the squad.

“We have already talked about Ginter, the Borussia Moenchengladbach defender,” he writes. “The Nerazzurri are following leads in other positions as well.”

“One of these points to Jesus Corona of Porto, a very tactical winger, who could represent a good signing. At the end of the season he will be released which could be an excellent opportunity,” he goes on.

“Another player who is being followed with great attention is Kostic,” he continues, “who could become Perisic’s heir.”

He goes on that “Among Italian clubs, Inter are always looking at Sassuolo. After targeting Raspadori, another name to be taken into consideration is that of Frattesi.”

“The midfielder has enjoyed a great start this season,” he continues. “He is now an ironclad starter and in the thirteen games that he’s played so far he has also scored three goals.”

“Given his progressive growth he would constitute a safe investment,” Ceccarini adds, “even though Sassuolo always places a high price on their young gems.”
