Italian Journalist Niccolo Ceccarini: “Inter Milan Have Genuine Interest In Barcelona Midfielder Franck Kessie & Udinese’s Roberto Pereyra” | OneFootball

Inter remain interested in Barcelona midfielder Franck Kessie and would consider a move for him if the terms were favourable, according to Italian journalist Niccolo Ceccarini.

Writing in an editorial on Tuttomercatoweb.com, Ceccarini revealed that the Nerazzurri remain admirers of the former AC Milan midfielder, having been linked with him in the January transfer window.

Kessie joined Barcelona on a free transfer from Milan last summer but has failed to make a significant impact at the Camp Nou, with his future in Catalonia far from certain.

Ceccarini suggested that Inter would be open to bringing the Ivory Coast international back to the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza next season, but it would require Barcelona agreeing to a loan with an obligation to buy, rather than an immediate sale.

Alternatively, Inter will pursue a deal for Udinese’s Argentine midfielder Roberto Pereyra, after holding a long-standing interest in the former Juventus man.

Meanwhile, with Milan Skriniar expected to join Paris Saint-Germain as a free agent at the end of the season, Inter are in the market for a centre-back, and will look to add another player in addition to signing loanee Francesco Acerbi on a permanent deal.

The 34-year-old joined from Lazio for the season last summer and there is a clause in the deal that allows Inter to buy him outright for €4 million, but the Nerazzurri are working on securing a discount.
