Italian journalist Michele Criscitieelo expects that Inter CEO Beppe Marotta is getting things ready to move for Juventus forward Paulo Dybala on a free transfer.

Writing in his column for TuttoMercatoWeb, Criscitiello explained how the Nerazzurri executive is working towards making the 28-year-old an Inter player in the summer.

Dybala’s current contract with the Bianconeri is set to expire at the end of June, and he has yet to agree on a new deal with his current club.

Juventus are aiming to renew with the Argentine, who also hopes to stay on in Turin, but the outcome of the talks is far from certain and it remains to be seen when they even take place, likely in the coming weeks.

In the meantime, Marotta and his fellow directors are increasingly considering the possibility that the Argentine could be brought in from their major rivals.

Criscitiello writes that “Dybala is beginning to find his answers at Juventus, and they appear more negative than positive.”

He goes on that “Juventus could be happy to let him go, as they could use the money set aside for Dybala’s renewal towards the signing of Vlahovic.”

“Now Marotta, who knows Dybala’s agents well, is preparing the ground for a move,” he continues. “Sanchez will leave at the end of the season, taking with him a hefty salary of €7 million.”

“Marotta can add another €1 million to this plus add-ons and meet Dybala’s wage demands to sign him for free,” he continues. “With the same money as was paid to the Chilean the Argentine will be signed.”
