Italian journalist Fabrizio Biasin has suggested that Inter cannot afford to sign Paulo Dybala on a free transfer if he leaves Juventus, according to a report in the Italian broadcast media.

Speaking whilst on the Twitch channel footballmarket.it, via FCInter1908, Fabrizio Biasin discussed the possibility of Inter signing the Argentine on a free transfer should he fail to reach an agreement with the Bianconeri over an extension.

“Dybala is very strong, but in the last year and a half, he has been too discontinuous. And then it would mean committing to at least €70 million. It is a very expensive gamble, which a team like Inter cannot afford.”

Inter would have to offer him a very lucrative contract that could potentially affect a lot of their other transfer business, but it seems that sporting CEO Beppe Marotta thinks the opportunity to sign Paulo Dybala on a free transfer is too good to pass up on.

The contract for him would likely be financed by Arturo Vidal and Matias Vecino leaving the club which would free up a lot of space in the wage budget.

Paulo Dybala is still giving Juventus priority.
