Juventus, Inter Milan and AC Milan will rival interest from the Premier League in Bologna forward Joshua Zirkzee.
The 22-year-old has had a breakthrough season in Italian football with 10 goals in 26 league starts for Bologna so far this season.
Zirkzee’s performances saw him linked with several English clubs during the January transfer window, with Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United named as suitors for the Dutchman.
Bologna are braced for bids for Zirkzee in the summer and Sky Germany are reporting that Serie A powerhouses Juventus, Inter and AC Milan are all keen on a deal which could cost in the region of €35m – €40m (£29m – £34m).
Bayern Munich have a buy-back option inserted in the deal that took Zirkzee to Bologna in 2022, though a return to the Bundesliga champions does not look probable as things stand.
The 6ft 4in centre-forward is hoping his form can earn him a place in the Netherlands squad for this summer’s European Championship, though a recent hamstring injury is set to rule Zirkzee out of March’s fixtures with Scotland and Germany.
Zirkzee is uncapped for the Dutch, but was included in the provisional squad for this month’s games. The forward will have to wait for a debut, however, after being substituted during the club’s 1-0 loss to Inter.
