As the summer transfer window nears its conclusion, AS Monaco's 21-year-old defensive midfielder Soungoutou Magassa has emerged as a highly sought-after talent across Europe.

Following reported interest from clubs such as AS Roma, Nottingham Forest, and West Ham United, the latest side to register concrete interest is Serie A’s Atalanta Bergamo. According to sources, the Italian club has begun gathering information and making initial contact with the player’s representatives, though no formal offer has been submitted at this stage.

The Franco-Malian player, who is under contract with Monaco until June 2029, currently holds a market valuation of €12 million. However, offers have already surpassed that figure, with West Ham submitting a bid of €16 million and Nottingham Forest reportedly prepared to offer €17 million.

Magassa’s rising profile follows an impressive 2024/25 season in which he made 31 appearances across all competitions, contributing one goal and one assist. His consistent performances have not gone unnoticed, attracting the attention of several top European clubs.
