Italian football agent Andre Bagnoli expects that there will be no issues in the contract extension negotiations between Inter and defender Milan Skriniar.

Speaking to Italian broadcaster TMW Radio via FCInterNews, the agent also gave the view that striker Lautaro Martinez is fully committed to the Nerazzurri.

Inter’s contract talks with Skriniar are among the most pressing matters at the club at the moment.

Securing the Slovakian’s future is a major priority given that if they are unable to do so he would be able to leave on a free transfer next summer, which would have significant knock-on effects as he was not sold for a big fee last summer.

The talks have been ongoing for the past few weeks, however, and reports have suggested that they have been headed in a positive direction.

For his part, Bagnoli feels that things are progressing well and that there are no issues.

“I think extending a player like Skriniar is the absolute priority,” Bagnoli said, “and the parties look to me to be close together, I don’t see any problems in the negotiations.”

And regarding Martinez, the agent said that “I think he’s embraced this Inter project, the club has made him feel like an important player.”
