Istanbul Basaksehir fullback Rafael da Silva is excited to be back at Old Trafford.
Rafael will start against former club Manchester United in tonight's Champions League clash.
He told Esporte Interativo: "It's been a long time since I've been in this ground. I'll never forget in the last game here, many good stories I lived in this club. I appreciate all the messages I got in the first game I got after I left the club and it was wonderful to be here. I won titles and was very happy here in England.
“It's gonna be a different feeling [playing at Old Trafford as an opponent]. I'm even nervous to say that. I don't know why it's such a big thrill to know everything I've been through here. Of course, when I go out into the field, I forget a lot. It's not the same as when we're here talking but it's sure to be a special moment in my life, my career.
“You can't even describe a different feeling like I said. It's been seven years playing here eight years living in Manchester and with seven months playing.
“I certainly won't celebrate. I respect this club a lot.
“I'm not going to talk about my whole career because I also worked hard but took a big step from my success to this club so I respect absolutely. I'm not going to celebrate if I score, no."
