Everton U21s winger Isaac Heath has gone on a season-long loan to Accrington Stanley in League Two.
Heath has done farly well as an Everton Academy graduate who joined the Blues aged 13. He was named Player of the Season for the Toffees’ Under-21s, with 6 goal contributions in 16 Premier League 2 matches last season.
A technically gifted and versatile player, the 20-year-old operated in several positions throughout the 2024-25 campaign, including both flanks, attacking midfield, central midfield and right-back.
Heath joined David Moyes’s pre-season squad for the summer, getting time on the pitch in friendly fixtures against Accrington Stanley, Blackburn Rovers and West Ham United in the Premier League Summer Series.
But he's simply not good enough to play at the senior level, despite being given a 2-year contract in July, and given his age, would need to perform to an outstanding level to improve enough while getting competitive games in the lower league.
